The area of Phuket is very large and hard to pick a location to stay. We wanted to stay closer to where our friends live, unfortunately it was still 30 minutes away, the traffic to get around anywhere in Phuket is horrible. The hotel is great, we stayed in our own private cottage near the pool and beach. The room was divided into 2 sections where there a large bed and the lower sunken part had the bed for our child. The place had lots of storage space, and the washrooms were good. The pool is very lovely. They have two pools - one pool for the people who stay in the main hotel area and one of the people who are staying in the private cottage and its large and wonderful. The beach is a disappointing as its not the hotel's fault but the tide goes out in Phuket in the morning so depending where you stay - you wont have a swimmable beach at the hotel unless you travel to a beach during the day for swim. The water slowly comes in the late afternoon.. its fun for us to walk on it and collect shells etc. Its closer to the Pier but not walkable as the traffic is horrible so you'll need a tuk-tuk or taxi to get to the main pier. Everything else in the Phuket you must take a tuk-tuk or taxi as everything is a distance away. We had dinner one night, unfortunately there is not much variety in the dinner menu. The breakfast is good. Next time I will stay in the old Phuket town which is really pretty like Singapore old town, totally a cool place to walk around.

We had a great stay at Aochalong villa resort. The hotel is in beautiful grounds which are really well maintained. The hotel has two pools, both of which are great. One directly overlooks Chalong bay, is deeper, and gets lots of sunshine. The other is surrounded by beautiful trees which provide shade when it's very hot. This pool is not so deep and has a water slide for children. Breakfast is served in a restaurant overlooking the pool and Chalong bay. It is a buffet style breakfast and all the food was really fresh and regularly re-stocked by the attentive staff. As we were leaving early (before breakfast) they even made us packed breakfasts to take with us. The staff at the hotel were really friendly, polite and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely recommend staying ay Aochalong villa resort.

I had a wonderful week at this resort. The property is very calm and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing and chill trip. The 2 swimming pools are a bonus as they have different atmosphere, one set in the gardens, the other facing the Chalong bay, and a serene view of the calm waters with gorgeous sunrise. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. I stayed in both the superior room and the villa during my stay. Both good value for money, clean and comfortable but the villa is definitely worth the upgrade. It is a bit out of the way but for me as a solo traveller that was a plus, with less families or large groups but still close to everything if you are on a scooter. It is well away from the crazy side of Phuket, but when needed a grab ride to Patong is only about 300 Bath. The yacht club next door has great food and chill bar vibe. Worth noting The Distillery, about 10mn away as an excellent restaurant and experience.

Beautiful garden pools and villas. Very clean , the staff exceptionally helpful and good. The airconditioning broke once, they fixed it immiediately. Very good food, good chefs, attentive waiters. Even the guest were nice. There is a free shuttle to KATA beach 3 times a week.

The staff were always welcoming, helpful and friendly! The resort itself is lovely, with a lovely view next to the pool and clean, well maintained facilities. I'd been in Bangkok for a few days before I stayed here and let me tell you, it was the perfect place to recharge my batteries!

The location is a bit out of the way of the Main Street of Chalong, near the pier, but it was very peaceful and relaxing. Both pools were lovely. The breakfast was great and we ate at the restaurant for dinner as well. All meals were great. Staff were beautiful and friendly. There are also plenty of places to eat, the yacht club is in walking distance and there is a great seafood restaurant close to the pier which is a bit of a long walk in the heat. Showers are hot and the rooms have all that you need.

We booked family room and it was huge,with 2 room,the room had a lovely view out to sea/harbour.breakfast was fine with usual buffet food thai and european with a chef standing by to cook fresh eggs/omlettes at request,2 good size pools with 1 pool looking out over the sea with terrace on sea front which had sun all day long,staff were polite and friendly and very helpful,room came with tea/coffee making facility,fresh water each day and all condiments for showering and taking a bath

The ambiance of the place is really good. They have everything in the property, restaurant, massage, pool & beach! Also the lady receptionist was very helpful and friendly, we never felt like we’re bugging them with so many questions. She made sure we enjoyed all of our stay. Also the restaurant manager was so polite and funny! They assisted us while waiting for our transport back to the airport. & on top of this all they made an effort to check us in early with a little sweet surprise in our room for our anniversary! Love this place so much definitely will recommend to all our friends and we will be back! ❤️

My friend and I stayed here for five nights in early May 2025, and it was honestly one of the best value-for-money stays we’ve had in Phuket. Our room was spacious and clean, the pools were well maintained, and the breakfast was tasty with good variety. The staff were also kind and helpful throughout our stay.
